Below we show you some areas, private and professional, and ask you to please indicate for yourself, how satisfied you are with this area of your life at the moment. Your task is to consider how satisfied you are with each of the areas under the present circumstances of life. This is done on the basis of a 10-step scale with 10 being: „I am completely satisfied with this area of life and it could not be better.“ and 1 being: „I am completely dissatisfied; this area of life is currently a disaster.“ You can choose any of the 10 evaluation levels, whatever seems appropriate for you. For each of the following areas, please enter your personal evaluation. Do not think too much about your answer and respond spontaneously and honestly:Education and training*12345678910Professional situation, my job, my career*12345678910Financial situation*12345678910Health*12345678910Family, family members*12345678910Children, desire for a child*12345678910Friends and social contacts*12345678910Relationship, love, sexuality*12345678910Housing situation, i.e. my satisfaction with the place of residence (this can be, among others, the apartment, the house, a shared flat)*12345678910Relaxation, personal well-being, time for yourself*12345678910Zest for life*12345678910Personal development, personal and emotional progress*12345678910 Now imagine, this is your very personal wheel of life. How smoothly is your wheel running? Please write that down. What does that do to you? Please write that down. Which areas make you think and which ones would you like to change? Which ones are keeping you up at night? So which ones are resonating with you? Please click on the relevant areas in the following illustration.Wheel evaluation – clicked areas* Think carefully whether these are actually the areas where you resonate, since you cannot change them later on. Now rank these selected areas according to “which of these areas bother me most”. What does your personal rank look like? Start with the area that bothers you the most and level it down to the area that currently bothers you the least. Please rank the selected areas using the drag-and-drop function. The highest prioritized area should come first, followed by the second most important area, etc.:Now bring the individual areas into your personal ranking: You now have 10 points to distribute between these areas. The question is: how hard do I want to work on that particular area in order to move forward? In order to eventually have a concrete plan, attempt to differentiate between the areas by applying points. How hard do I want to work on the respective area in order to make progress? You have to distribute all 10 points to the areas. The area that you want to prioritize for further work selected in the Goal-Finder is: {placeholder} Do you want to work on this area?Final decision Yes No Again, here are the areas where you resonate. Now please select the area you want to work on in this Goal-Finder:Finale EntscheidungSeveral areas seem to be equally important to you. Focus is important in this phase. Therefore another way to work out the currently most important area for further work for you. Divide the areas according to urgency. Put them in a sequence between the two statements: “currently not very urgent, i.e. not so urgent in terms of time” and “currently very urgent, i.e. absolutely urgent, to do something by the highest priority”. Focus is really important. Because where the attention is, there you can invest energy and something will move.Feel inside yourself and decide what is the most urgent area for your progress at the moment. You have decided to work on the {placeholder} area that interests you the most at the moment. Working on this topic will enable you to move forward and come up with concrete ideas. Is there anything or anyone in your sphere of influence that prevents you from working on {placeholder}?Is there anything or anyone in your sphere of influence that prevents you from working on {placeholder}?* Nothing, no obstacle There is an obstacle What is stopping you? What is stopping you after your decision? Write that down, please.Very good. So in the following you will work on the {placeholder} area. Now let’s look at the opportunities for the {placeholder} area. What is good about the current situation in the selected area {placeholder}? Do you have good reasons for not changing anything? Write that down, please. Why are you unhappy with the {placeholder} area? Why do you want to improve the {placeholder} area? Write that down, please. How do you explain the dissatisfaction? What is the underlying reason for your dissatisfaction? Why is it as it is? Write that down, please. Now you have had a first chance to think about this area. We are usually quite good at following our thoughts and being so rational. For the success of the Goal-Finder though, we also want you to go to the level of feelings and body awareness, and check if those are currently hindering or negative for you. For you to make better and more focused progress. Do you want to do an exercise with us in the form of a meditation, if you are currently experiencing feelings that are hindering or negative for you?Do you want to do an exercise?* Yes No It is your very personal decision. The advantage of doing this exercise is that the Goal-Finder can better support you on the way to your goal. We accompany you step by step. Just decide for yourself whether you want to do the exercise now or not. However, keep in mind that obstacles are often in the emotional realm, i.e. the world of feelings, and not in thoughts. Get involved in this exercise, now that you are taking the time to do it. If ready, then please click “Yes” above, otherwise “Next”.Dissolve emotions /wp-content/uploads/2023/01/230109_en_solving_emotions.mp3 Well done. How was that for you? Then write them down. Do you need a break to digest the first insights?Do you need a break to digest the first insights? Yes No Click “Save and Continue” below, then you can continue whenever you’re ready. Now turn your attention fully to the area {placeholder}. What bothers you about {placeholder}? Does it make you upset or dissatisfied? Please write down everything that bothers you and what you do not want anymore. Write down what is unsettling you in the {placeholder} area and what is preventing you from sleeping. What’s upsetting you? Here are a few examples for the area “professional situation, my job, my career” these could be: No orders from clients. I cannot pay my bills. Nobody needs my expertise. Write down everything that bothers you about {placeholder} and you want to avoid. What exactly do you not want anymore? Make a list of what is bothering you. Write that down, please. Now think about what the real problem is. How can you rephrase your individual comments into questions, that are as positive as possible? In our example these could be: “How can I increase sales?” or “How can my customers understand the benefits of my work?” What are your rephrased questions for each of your comments? Write down your list of rephrased questions. Perfect. And now let’s make it more exciting. Next, turn each of these questions exactly into the opposite. I mean, make a reversal statement. With every question, think about what the opposite would be. In our example: “How can I avoid sales?” or “How can I hide the benefit of my work from my customers?” What are your oppositional statements? Write down your list of reverse statements now. And now, in a further step, write down ideas and associations for each of these statements (from the last question). No matter how absurd they seem. Write them down in a list from top to bottom. Trust that this exercise will do great things for you. For our example these might be: “I just don’t contact anyone anymore” or “I don’t explain what I do to anyone”. Write down ideas and associations for each of your statements now: Write that down, please. And now, take every one of your ideas and turn them into a positive action. You may also find it helpful to finish the sentence of “I wish…” In our example: “Targeted sales activities for specific occasions” or “Facts presented simply on an one-pager”. What are your positive ideas? Write those down, please. Now look at how many ideas you have already collected. Well done. And these are only ideas for the specific chosen area {placeholder}. However, we still have more to do. How are you doing? Write down your thoughts. Let’s move on. Don’t worry, if the process is not yet as advanced as you would like it to be. You can now make a “vision journey” for your focus area, if you want to. It is a journey we are taking you on in your thoughts, to unlock your potential with even more intensity than you expect. Of course, you have the option to skip this journey now and complete it at another time. We will make the exercise available for you at the end of the Goal-Finder. Do you want to make the journey right now?Do you want to make the journey right now?* Yes No Vision Work /wp-content/uploads/2023/01/230109_en_vision_work.mp3 No matter how clear your picture of the future that you have now painted is, look at it again and become aware of the positive aspects. If you look at the picture and your list of ideas from before: what additional ideas come to mind that you want to and can add to your list? What else could you do, to be even more satisfied with your focus area {placeholder}? Write that down, please. Now take the whole list of ideas and associations. No matter how many there are. Well done. Now imagine that you have 10 points that you can distribute to those ideas. Think specifically about which of these ideas is particularly good, which of these ideas will get your points. Where would you like to invest your time? Which ones are your best? You can assign all points to one idea, but also divide them up between the different ideas. There may also be ideas that do not receive any points at all. What are your best ideas? Distribute the 10 points to your best idea(s). If there are several ideas that have received points, use the following illustration to distribute them according to importance and urgency, to increase your satisfaction with your {placeholder} area. We have designed this illustration according to Eisenhower’s model. Now place your ideas in here and always ask yourself how important and how urgent the respective idea is in order to achieve more satisfaction with the {placeholder} area. Here is the illustration of the Eisenhower matrix by us: Copy this illustration to your notes and write your ideas in the according boxes. Now write down your most important and urgent idea in your notes. Write that down, please. Good. Do you want to move on? You can also continue at a later stage if it is not convenient for you just now. What is about to follow is the concretization of your idea. Do you want to move on now?Do you want to move on now?* Would like to continue Need a break Then click “Save and continue later” at the bottom, then you can continue when you’re ready. How can you phrase this idea more concretely? What exactly do you want to achieve? What’s your goal? I am looking for , to achieve the following result for me , and reach the concrete benefit (can also be a feeling): . Now, look at your goal in peace. Read it out loud to yourself. If necessary, rephrase it. What is the benefit? What is so great about it? What excites you? Write that down, please. What motivates you about it? What’s the opportunity? Write that down, please. What could be possible obstacles? What could be stopping you from getting it done? What is stopping you from reaching that goal? What’s the biggest barrier? Write that down, please. What are you afraid of? What is your concern? What is absolutely not allowed to happen? How can you protect yourself? Write that down, please. How do you see it? Write that down, please. Do you know that feeling from other situations? If so, where do you know that feeling from? Write that down, please. Are you willing to work with these hindering feelings in order to achieve your goal? Are you willing to work with these hindering feelings in order to achieve your goal?* Yes No How strong is the feeling now? Use the scale of 1-10 with 10 being “feel it very strongly” and 1 being “feel it only lightly”. Here is the meditation to ease these feelings: /wp-content/uploads/2023/01/230109_en_emotions.mp3Just let the feelings sink in. Maybe take a break. Click „Save and continue later“ at the bottom, then you can continue , as soon as you are ready. Well done. How strong is the feeling now? Again, use the scale of 1-10 with 10 being “feel it very strongly” and 1 being “feel it only lightly”. After submitting your answers, we will also provide you with the link to the exercise so that you can repeat it again and again, whenever you need this support. Now look at your notes again with the goal you wrote down in words. We shall now go into the depths of your intention. By the way, only ask yourself the questions that you personally find helpful. How can you reach the goal you wrote down? Write that down, please. What exactly can you do? What exactly are you doing? Until when? When? With whom? Where? What do you need to make this change possible? This can be, for example, courage, trust, belief in myself, patience, time, perseverance or the like. What will you be paying attention to? Write that down. What can help you achieve that? Which resources? What support? Write that down. Which good qualities, which useful skills, which beneficial behaviours from your life experience are you going to utilize? Write that down. Who can help you achieve that? Which messages do they give you along the way? Write that down. Which behaviours do you have to abandon, change, acquire? Write that down. What are you proud of, when you are taking this path? Write that down. What will you miss, if you do not take this path and will not reach your goal? Write that down. Well done! If you look at your notes now and your picture of the vision work, take a moment and just let it sink in. Above all, put the concrete phrasing of your goal in your letter and what or who can help you along the way. Write down, what you want for yourself in the area {placeholder} and what you want to achieve. And then put this letter in an envelope and address it to yourself. We will also send you a short reminder email, so that your goal does not get lost in everyday life. Well done!
